On August 27, 2019, at the invitation of the organizers of the ASEAN Ceramics Exhibition, we visited the SCG CERAMICS Co., Ltd. and Siam refractory industry Co, Ltd in Thailand with the staff of the other companies.

    SCG is the leading tile manufacturer in the ASEAN region. It has advanced automatic tile production, from raw materials to molding, printing, firing, packaging, and palletizing, all of which are automated. The company has two workshops, a total of 9 kiln production lines, with an annual output of 24 million square meters of ceramic tiles. The well-established process, sound system and meticulous management of the factory have made SCG achieve many awards and maintain a good development momentum.

   Siam refractory industry Co.Ltd,Founded in 1953,  is SCG's first refractory plant in Thailand. It is now the largest refractory manufacturer in Southeast Asia with three leading strategic units; cement building materials, chemicals, packaging materials. It is the only refractory manufacturer that has won international awards such as the 2003 Deming Application Prize and the TPM Excellence Category A for the successful implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM). Provide refractory products and services to cement, steel, glass, petrochemical, ceramic, aluminum, boiler, lead, tin and other refractory industries in more than 60 countries around the world.

    The visit was warmly and meticulously received by SCG Group. We learned the advanced management concept of SCG Group, and also discussed the production links and products that will cooperate with SCG in the future. Hope that business cooperation can be started in the near future.
